BCBA Job vacancy/Job Description:

Fountain Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a newly certified BCBA or an early-career clinician looking for a collaborative and supportive environment. The BCBA will manage a balanced caseload, supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), and provide high-quality, client-centered care.

This position is available as part-time with flexible scheduling and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Supervise assigned BTs through direct observation, coaching, and data review
  • Monitor client progress and make programming adjustments as needed
  • Provide family training and support based on client needs and treatment goals
  • Maintain clinical documentation for compliance with Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial insurers
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative treatment planning
  • Support staff development, feedback, and skill growth in alignment with best practices

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), in good standing
  • 0–2 years of BCBA experience welcome
  • Comfortable supervising RBTs and BTs across multiple settings
  • Knowledge of ABA programming, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to ethical care and client-centered decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both in-home and clinic-based ABA services
  • Familiarity with TRICARE or Medicaid billing standards
  • Proficiency in electronic data collection platforms
  • Bilingual (Spanish or ASL) is a plus, but not required

Position Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs implement individualized treatment plans, collect data on client progress, and support skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, daily living, and behavior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct ABA therapy services to clients in the clinic, home, school, or community settings.

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.

  • Collect accurate, ongoing data on client performance and behavior.

  • Assist clients in building functional communication, social skills, daily living, and academic skills.

  • Apply behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.

  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.

  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.

  • Communicate progress and challenges with the BCBA and therapy team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

  • Prior experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or in educational/behavioral settings preferred.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Must pass a background check and meet all state/federal requirements.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and play with clients.

  • Lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.

  • Work may take place in clinic, school, home, or community settings.
